Default IS250 Hood Adjustment

Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the hood on a 2007 IS250?
I purchased this car used recently and the hood sits slightly lower then the body in the front. Can this be fixed?
If it helps, I can take some pictures.

Open your hood and around the front engine cover you will see some rubber stops. Those stops can be turned to raise or lower the hood. Turn clockwise to lower the hood and counter clockwise to raise it. Also those stops do have a limit so if you back them out too much they will come off in your hand.

It might not be the hood though, it could be that your fender is higher. Happened to me (as still is BTW) when I hit a tree limb. Had to replace the passenger side front tire and immediately noticed the fender alignment was MUCH higher on that side than it used to be.

That makes sense, but it my case both sides are even. Looks like the hood is just lower. I was able to adjust it up slightly, however the latch is acting as if it is too low. Basically if I have the rubber stoppers in a position where the hood is even with the body, the hood will not latch.

I am pretty sure that my car was in a small accident at some point in the past and the owners handled it out of pocket. I may just have a Lexus dealer take a look to see if anything can be done.

you can easyly fix that your self, if you look at the latch it will have 3-4 10mm bolts. You can loosen those bolts up and you should be able to slide the latch up and down a bit.
