Weird NAV screen problem. HELP
As for the OP YES thats a touch screen problem.
Proof:
on my first time on my own car, I tried the DIY and after the 1st try, i had the same exact symptoms as you. 2nd try no luck. 3rd try i rerouted all the 4 wires again and it worked.
It just means that if it moves to the left only, its because only 1 out of your 4 wires is working.
If it goes to the right, and bottom diagonally, it means 2 of the 4 wires is working and so on.
If you were in cali i would definitely take a look and help you out here

. I do this for free to help out other local CL members!I talked to a shop that fixes nav systems and they indicated that if it is scrolling at all then the connections are ok and that the problem is not a broken circuit.
Is the fix to the problem you have described done by retracing the broken circuit with a circuit writing pen between the ribbon cable and the glass edge?
