Touch screen not functioning at all

i am driving a year 2008 UK spec Lexus IS250..
could anyone help me on this issue ?
i touch the screen and nothing happened ..
i can't use the touch screen to control the air-condition hi-low speed, can't change the radio channel or cd/dvd ..
when i pressed the info button on the left of the screen, it only allows me to select language, but still i can't choose any of the language due to failure of the touch screen ..
is there any solution for this problem or is it i need to change the screen ?
is there any old links that provide answer to this problem ?
please help ..

I just fixed my wife's nav screen a few months ago. I believe it was under a $20 fix and took about 2 hours of total time. Still working great!

^So glad that I have yet to experience the NAV screen issue, but it is good to know that through others research there is a solution.
