I saw the 2011 running on the road before.
It looks just like how AUDI has their LED light on the headlight.
The color is about the same.

 

I saw the IS-F 2011 at Lexus of Bellevue on Friday. Fully loaded and just sitting just outside of the glass of the building. It's their first 2011 IS car they have so far, the others like 250/350 should be comming in shortly.

 

I talked to a guy there yesterday. He said they only have a 2011 IS250 F-sport for display and I am welcome to test drive it. I'm not sure about the "coming in shortly" part though because he said I have to put my name on a waiting list if I wanted to buy a 2011 IS250 or IS350.

 

Does anyone know the difference between the:

2006-2008 Headlampunit vs 2009-2010 Headlampunit, because there are different according to the Sewell parts.

the lens of the 2006 seems to be a little bit foggy, is that also on the other years models? 2011 seems to be a more clear lens.

AFS is useful! to help see during nighttime when you got illegal tints... I'm honestly not feeling it at all. save it for the germans..

Is the projector of the 2011 a clear lens or just like the 2006, foggy like

^ In these two pictures the LED DRL's look like a perfect match to the OEM HIDs, which means a color temp of ~4100K for both (aka "warm white") . I guess I'll have to check it out in person, but that's a dealbreaker for me. 5000K would have been nice.

sewell, do you think that we can just swap out the headlight housing? i think we have to use the old wire harness? like ballast wire harness? by the look and the new design headlight for someone whose want to swap to 2011 headlight, the wire harness is the major swap? i might be wrong, but I think that the biggest concern.
