it says "Applies specifically to 2009-2010 IS models equipped HID headlamps." what about 06-08' ? and arent ballasts the same as onces used on the previous models?

 

^^ it's because they haven't tested on the 06 model yet. They will soon and so we shall know by then.

 

Sewell can u try to work these light on 06-08 model?

 

I just went to the dealer and check on the 2011 the new headlight LED not really that bright compare to new AUDI, the projector lens not clear (just semi clear) if you guy whose has the 09 and 10 IS, so the new 11 projector is just the same, the cool thing is the back housing are black out (flat black) and chrome bezel which is nice, and the tail light way off to me they are ugly, lucky me I didn't buy the 2011, and got the 2010 tails, here what i didn't like the new 11 tails is the back up clear is not clear like the 09, 10, it like pink tint to it, and the amber not clear like ISF, the amber like smoke pink(if any one whose has like the 02-03 toyota Highlander tail light with amber, so the new 11 amber look like that (smoke tint pink) here some pics I took at the dealer by my iphone4

ohiois350: You can put a chrome bulb into the '11+ tail for a truly clear look.

 

I know, but I don't think the chrome bulb make the different, because the len is not clear like ISF, it like smoke pink I mean light pink

2011 Tails look way better than the 2009-10! Even if the clear is a little pink. It looks like the border around the taillights is darker than the 09-10 version. This could be a problem if I wanted to just replace the outer part of the tails.

 

yeah that is the case if you just replace just the outer parts i would look weird? but I am happy with the 2010 on my black car, because when it on black it look darker than in the pics I posted earlier.

 

My headlights look different, not as yellow. White.

 

I actually received the new outers a few days ago. From what I see, the border looks to be the same color as the '09-'10 tails. Here's a pic.

 

at least it flow better with the 09 tails than the 11, because the 09 back up lens is clearer than the 11(pink)

 

I think we got it!
