I wonder after installed the 2011 headlight and run the AFS wire to separate AFS ECU from rx350, which i have some left to trick the dash, so it though that I have the AFS ecu hook up? do you guys think would that work?

There's no single wire or even a couple wires for the AFS - it's a series of wires. It's a series of wires with a series of sensors. Needless to say, this isn't something we're willing to get back involved with unless someone out there gives us some miracle method to deactivate the system while not deactivating it.

...I'm working on the FAQ's now.

Is there any specific questions anyone needs answers?

I guess you missed the post, we've already successfully retrofitted a 2006 with the lights. Here's a link directly to the kit: http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...-2010-635.html. Be mindful this kits more expensive primarily due to the additional light computer and bulbs required for the HID.

HID to HID/LED
Halogen to HID/LED

The originally equipped halogen head lamp option requires more parts. It requires the additional light computers and bulbs. HID equipped models don't need these parts as they already have it.

When installed on a 2006 to 2010 with HID & AFS, what warning lights and/or warning messages are displayed??

Does turning off the AFS function (where the tpms selectors is) change any of the possible error lights that are displayed??

Thank You

Joe Z

That's an easy one

Step 1: Remove cluster
Step 2: Remove ASF warning bulb
Step 3: reinstall cluster
step 4: enjoy

step 5: kick myself in the *** since I forgot about the message window.

These head lights look like identical to the 2010 S class model minus the black housing.
