Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)! It should not cost more than $200 for a small door ding, maybe around $120.

I just got two den'ts pulled last weekend. Know your pain, they drive you crazy! Retail on PDR is 120$ for a quarter size dent. Payed 140 for 2 seperate panels to be done.

I've done the paintless dent repair too, that's the way to go, kind of expensive though for what it is. There was a DentPro near work I used them the results were better than I expected. There are other chains like DentWizard.
Or you can go through the Lexus dealer, but then they just end up calling the DentPro or DentWizard guys, at least thats what the DentPro guy was bragging. I think I paid $250 to get 3 dents removed about a year or two ago. The charge per dent goes down the more you have fixed. About 6 months or ago one of the local dealers sent an advertisement for paintless dent removal 3 dents for I think it was $120 but maybe that was a special or promo.

I paid $40 for a pretty nasty ding on my rear door above the door handle on the bend...it was a hard to reach location too.

I even took the door panel off for him to do it and he got it 99% out. You can only tell if you knew where it was before.

Yeah, ask him to explain how he is going to push the dent out. Be sure to ask if he's going to drill holes or damage something by doing the repair. Depending on where the damage is that might be required.

I had a dent on the above the rear wheel well and he wanted to drill a hole in the frame of the door to get behind it and then put a rubber plug in it when he was done. The spot where this dent was a sealed cavity and the only way to get behind it was to drill a hole.
I told him don't drill paint in the door frame but instead drill from underneath the wheel well.

$120 seems way too high for a door ding. most of the time they charge half of that per door. so if you have multiple dents on one door they usually only charge like $60.

mine was on the flat part above the curve...NOT on the crease. It is hard to get to since there is a reinforcement behind it. luckily he was able to get a tool in there because the reinforcement has holes in it.

I had to remove the door panel for him to get to it.

I had a half dollar sized ding in my left rear door and the PDR guy my family has been using for years charged me all of $60 to fix it. It took him 2 hours and he even wet sanded the scratch out of the clear coat. He did an excellent job.

Dent wizard works well but here it is mostly through dealers. Years ago '94 I went directly to their place but that was even $75 back then. Last year it was $150 for one dent. I'm now contemplating buying the ding protection which is unlimited for 3 years for around $500. On my 3rd day out the car received a ding. It doesn't have protection like my RX400h.
