Default small dent on door ridge - paintless solution?

i've a small dent on the front passenger door near the door handle right on the ridge. it's the size of a dime - will it be removal through pdr? the body shop gave me an estimate of 400 to fix because it will require paint for them but if one of those specialty shops can do it they said it could cost less than 100.

How can we know? Call a PDR place and ask them.

Generally PDR techs need to get behind the dent - if it's on a weld seam you might be SOL. But they might have some other tricks up their sleeves.

Your best bet is to stop by a place that does it -they can tell you in 5 seconds if it can be done. You don't pay unless they do the work - it'll only cost you a little bit of your time to find out.
