Broken into
My bedroom is at the complete opposite corner of the house, and windows breaking aren't really all that loud. If the theif used a rubber mallet, I probably wouldn't have heard it if I were awake.
yeah i agree, if you have your own personal garage, leave the doors unlocked, and maybe even the windows down. then take your stuff indoors. now there's nothing to steal and your car is practically 100% burglarproof. no need for a motion detector.
you probably wouldn't hear a thing if the thief used the sparkplug method to break your window.
i left my windows open in my garage once... big mistake. a spider went in and setup shop in my car. took me a day to find him... freaked my passenger out too when the spider came repelling down from the ceiling hahah.

You use a sparkplug against the glass to shatter it. I think I saw this on some TV show once... Or maybe it was for one of those devices you keep in your car in case you fall into a river and your car starts sinking... lol, I can't remember... Freaking infomercials...
