So 1 of neighbors told me that at 3:30 am they were awoken by their dogs who were barking at 3 guys, 1 of whom appeared to have a slimjim checking out mine and their new cars. Their awakening scared them off, but we feel they'll be back.
So what are your all experiences with theft & attempts and failures and the scratches , etc,. that they leave behind?

The alarm won't go off if they break a window, but only when they try to open the doors or windows. Make sure you have nothing valuable sitting in the car, or personal info that identity thieves may take.
Most of the time, thieves will not be able to take the car. However, the cost of replacing windows and the time and hassle in taking care of the situation are far worse. Try to keep the car indoors. Use anything like the Club; although it isn't theft proof, it is a deterrent.
That is truly awful and disheartening news. Lucky for you the dogs were there to alert people.
I assumed the few creeps inhabiting the beautiful Island of Maui preyed on unsuspecting tourists and tended to leave the "locals" alone.
Sounds to me like you have a darn good reason to have a top-of-the-line auto security system installed in your ES. You might even get a break on your insurance. Hopefully someone can give you some suggestions to that end.

PS The pics of your car are exceptional. I saved them on my computer to drool over. And, admiring the background will help prepare me for our trip to Honolulu in June.
newer cars especially the es350 can not be open with a slimjim, the door locks are far down and at an angle, you would probably find the car in the morning with a slimjim stuck in the door, a dealer would need to pop the interior panel off to get the slimjim out still a pain to deal with.
anyways I'd go with motion detection lights or just a driveway light, people will avoid cars if a light is on them but still hiding in the dark with a bat is always fun
