Wow, this is more tricky than it appears at first sight! Don't understand why these parts are stuck together so firmly . Seeing it disassembled like this, there's really no room for a pcb board in the middle. But the hi power 194 will do a good job too!

1.) Has anyone used these in their fog lamps:
FOG LAMPS
I am trying to decide between those and Sylvania Silverstars as they are the same price. Any opinions?

2.) this might be a dumb question as i haven't looked very close (im lazy), but are turn signals (front) amber bulbs or or clear w/amber lens

3.) Anyone used these for reverse lights and if so are they bright enough?
REVERSE LIGHTS

1. No, some members have tried the 9005 version for DRL and havent liked them. I doubt the lite output will be to your liking, for show purposes only *imo*

2. Front bulbs are amber bulbs.

3. I wouldnt use them. I would try THIS or THIS BUT the 18 led seems big and may not fit. AND just for a pure saftey purpose the light output may not be strong enough.

i have these as my back-up lights right now. the bulb is a tiny bit too big to fit so you will have to shave it down a tiny bit. very easy to do with some sand paper.

Just a quick question. I want to replace my low beam headlamp, it say on the manual that i have a "bi-xenon HID headlamps with AFS & Auto leveling".
Should i get the D4S or H11 fitting?

I already replaced my high beam to 5000k with some unknown japanese brand. i'll post some pics later....

Thanks in advance.

D4S = HID bulb
H11 = Halogen bulb

Goto you car, dont turn it on just turn on the lights, do you hear a buzzing from the fenders? Thats the ballast, that means you have hids. Only buy D4S bulb for it, thats the fitment.

*amazing how helpful i am in this thread and not so much on topic in the rest *

Thanks A Lot... I have the buzzing sound, so it's D4S. I planning to get either 6000k or 6500k, any recommendations?

I am going to change my puddle lamps once again and I was wondering if anyone else had a helluva time getting the mirrors to clip back on the the tilt mechanism. Popping the mirrors off and geting in there is easy. I just hada really hard time getting the mirrors to clip back on, so if anyone knows of any tricks or tips please let me know.

Anyone have a lot of success w/o removing the mirror, it sounds like it can be done. I may try that way, I am thinking i trying to back of the phillips just enough to be able to get the housing to come apart slightly to allow the lamp housing to come down. Just a theory, but man getting that mirror back on was a b*tch. Seriously any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hmm... no, maybe your being too careful, just firmly 'pop' it back in. I've changed my puddles 3 times already, 1st was hardest, 2nd and 3rd took 2min.

Anyone know of a DE3022 trunk light that doesn't require bending the clips? Every 3022 bulb I see is 31mm x 10mm. The bulb from the trunk is more like 28mm x 7.5mm.
