and so revive the thread.. anyone who purchased LEDS from V-leds.com?? i ordered two smt festoon bulbs and one doesnt work.. and i ordered 921 reverse lights and they sent me the wrong ones.. they gave me 9 led 194 wedge bulbs! and ONE doesnt work! wth! im aggravated.. lol but some detailed information.. the new SMT bulbs are frikkennn BRIGHT! HID WHITE! its as white as the HIDS near your front dome lights

UPDATE** It works! i didnt know they had a positive side and negative side i thought it was either way! but dam they look fantastic! thanks aznlex!
btw can i touch the newer smt bulbs? cause.. i did.. lol

np! lol im not sure about that one. I touched all my leds. The only ones I don't touch is HIDs and halogens.

what kind of LEDs have people been using for their door lights and vanity lights(visors) ????
for the door lights im getting blue to match my interior, but i can seem to get a bulb that will make it engulf the casing with blue.. even the 5-led refractor only lights up half the casing.
for the vanity lights.. the 5-led refractors are able to fully light up the casing, but its nowhere as bright as the oem bulbs were... anyone got any ideas???

they will fit in the vanity lights but for the doors.. you would have to do some bending or something.. i cant recall but i did fit some 9 SMT led in the doors so i think you can fit the five smt in there with some metal bending too lol they are BRIGHT but i dont know if it would put a good output for the doors considering how the SMT lights point in 5 different directions.. you might just havea small bright dot but surely the output will fill up the whole lense

GOod lord, I read through every single pages of this thread. There's so much information to remember here. It would be nice if the OP or someone write a summary of which bulb is best for which. A pro/con, where to get it, for every bulbs would be nice also. This way it would be so much easier for someone who want to do the lighting mods to follow. The summary of all the bulbs updated to the first page of this thread would nice also. The noobs like me won't have to read through every pages and having a hard time debating on which one to get because every bulbs is on a different page. Thank you all for your contributions.
