No the polargs have VERY little flicker in them. I could hardly tell the difference between the stock and the polargs as far is dimming is concerned. Brightness wise is a world of difference though.

I got a pair of J-53 (a little bit whiter than J-51, with a hint of blue (6000k)) for sale in the classified section if anybody still interested.

And V-Led doesnt have the 5 fractors anymore. So im going to order The front Dome Lights But i dont think the 24 LED mainboard based one will fit the IS with a moon roof. So maybe these will fit

I had some trouble taking off the PCB because of the moonroof ****. How were you able to separate it from the housing?

Im actually not sure because while i was changing these lights, the power went out and i was doing everything by a flashlight and i couldnt see the fine details. I guess its just force but i wouldnt risk it again. After i saw that post about the PCB LED, I decided to return the 6 LED because i didnt like the three dots the LED had. Got any ideas?

This was as far as I could get here:

Letz250 has the European version without the moonroof so it was a little easier for him to take out the pcb. US models with the moonroof has the **** that prevents you pulling the PCB out easily.

He mentioned to pull vertically upward and the **** should just separate from the PCB. I believe there is a locking shaft that attaches itself between the moonroof control unit(soldered to pcb near red arrows) and the plastic **** on the outside of the assembly. I tugged at it pretty hard but it just wouldn't release.

I've since put this back together and dropped the pcb led route, but if anyone figured out how to seperate the PCB from the moonroof assembly, let me know ... two of these and one of these would be crazy bright in there.

Yeah i think im going to abandoned the PCB LED mod. I actually think the sunroof ****/switch broke on mine I called the dealer and told them and they were nice and told me to bring the car to get it replaced under warranty. I still havent had time to change out the driver side parking lights yet ive been putting off the work, it seems a little consuming. I think i will order 3x high powered LEDS that should just fit right into the socket so it should be all good for now..
