Ok first, car_lost ment dome lites, maplites are the little ones that angle only at the seat, for those led HB4 no dont, for fogs use either HID kit OR one of the many other yellow fog lites. LED 9005 is what we use for the DRL as seen HERE

^ You can use any HID really. However I would suggest going through a CL vendor like Xenon Depot. Mtec also puts out a very good kit, you can find that through ebay. But make sure the buyer will give you a warranty on the kit!

Can someone tell me what kind of bulbs they used for the rear dome light. Did you replace it with two LED's bulbs or just one big 9 LED or something? I know stock is comes with two DE3175 bulbs, however I'm trying to find a blue LED I can put back there. Just cant find single blue bulbs the same size as stock.

THANKS!!!
These were similar to what I was looking at, but the pictures are misleading. Doesn't look like 2 of these would fit, but I guess so. I'll be ordering them ummm...... Right NOW! Next is Clear door len's and Illuminated scuff plates! ... Maybe?

On page 27 HERE if you scroll down past the dome diy you'll see a pic of my clear doors with vleds blue flank bulbs, they match the blue of the scuff plates exactly.

has anyone replacesd their back-up lights? My car is tinted and I would like to improve the reverse lights for better visibilty. I'm thinking of getting some LED's for it but some LED's states that they may need alteration or modification to fit. Which one's, from VLED, should I get for it to fit perfectly?

Also, I want to change or turn off the light on pedals. Is there anyway to do that? Sometimes, i just don't want my feet lit when I'm driving at night.

I replaced mine with the 168/192 high power LED from VLED but the light intesity isn't all that great at night when reversing. And about the feet lights not sure.

So you would suggest to not even bother with replacing it since it won't make much of a difference? Also, which LEd's exactly did you get? Did yours fit without a problem? Becuase they have a lot of choices and some maybe too wide or too long.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that. Is there any way that it could turn on when the door is open/when I enter the car and then have it turn off once I start driving?

The ones for the reverse are 921 which are a little bit bigger than 168/194. I put the 168 in because had a couple of them laying around. The fit a little bit in more but still works fine. I'll see if I could take a few pix.

For reverse lites: You'll need to buy the 921 LEDs yourself and see... but there are only 2 types im considering...

1st because they appear they will fit.

2nd *but not really* they appear too long and the cheeper 13 LED smt still has 3 forward firing lites.

Still im iffy on LED reverse lites, looks are one thing but reversing at nite? Better safe than sorry.
