All the bulb changing process is very easy. A monkey can do it. I'm not saying that to insult you, but that's just how easy it is.

If you are stuck on like..removing a piece, let us know which piece?

 

Anyone think to change to Black light LED

 

I looked because I like the purple, but then everythin would look funny in your car, espically people, because light colors glow so peoples makeup and clothing would be glowing ;x the purple light would be kinda cool though

 

I think it would look cool, all the white would glow. It wouldn't be that purple though, i might try it

 

Great thread, but a bit confusing. Can we just go over which are the proper bulbs to get.

Front Dome: 3x 194 bulbs or 2pkgs of these
Door Lights: 2x 194 bulbs / 1pkg of the above
Vanity Lights: 2x 194 / 1pkg of the above
Puddle: 2x 194 / 1pkg of the above or these
Rear dome: 2 bulbs of these
Trunk: 1 bulb of the above
Backup: 2x 921 bulbs / 1pkg of these

anyone had problems with fitting a 31 mm festoon in the trunk? i have a 9 led one and its freaking fatter than stock and i'm having problems getting it into the two holes... any pics anyone or tips

 

i had same problem.. it was way to big to fit back there.. so i just left it stock. :/

 

anyone try changing out their footwell lighting?

 

it's so dumb they designed it that way, they could of use the same brackets as the rear dome lights and just turned it into a switch instead of those crappy one

 

I have a much easier question. How to you get to the fog lights. It looks like you have to remove the fender liners,,,

The footwell lighting is a single LED, it's exactly the same one used in your center console.

For the fogs, there is a small cover with two clips holding it on the driver side which gives you access to it. But passenger side, you gotta pull back the fender liner.

 

dont need to remove them, it's more of a pull it out of the way operation deal. I hope you have a little sister because theres barely any clearance for your hands... I hated changing my bulbs lol

I bought a smaller size of the regular white festoon bulb. I beleive it is 28 mm long. It looks just fine. If I remember correctly I bought the bulb from racinglab.com. Not sure if it is right. I'll try to find that festoon bulb again.
