it doesn't hurt to ask, I already know what to get, i'm just looking out for the other newbies hehehe. They either take the time to read through everything like I did or they'll start another thread of "what size of bulb is blah blah blah". Someone will then proceed asnd type back "do a search" lol.

Good point, there is a lot of threads popping up about such and such. And all the info is there ready to be searched. Too bad Im not doing all those bulbs yet, I can find better things to spend my money on like a Vertex kit *hint hint* LOL

Heres the deal, bulbs have been comming out too fast lately so by next month a new bulb would have come out, theres also price, the smt bulbs cost more than the reg led bulbs. Only way is to experiment yourself and post your results. I first went with the expensive PIAA route and guess what, it suxed BIG TIME for what i wanted. Then i went the cheepy route and wow, much much nicer. I will upgrade my LED's to SMT bulbs eventually.

You don't just pick the lens only out. You must pull the entire housing. Pull on the left side and it should come out easily.

Can I use that for the puddle light? Is it as bright as the OEM one but white?
If not, which LED can I buy that will be as bright as OEM but white? Sorry if this topic has been covered before, I dont want to go back 25 pages to find the answer.

i use the flank led's for the puddle lights and the vanity mirror lights. they work really good! i used the refracter leds in the door courtesy lamp cuz i figure they're just used as a marker light rather than to illuminate anything.

i think they're brighter than the oem and they do light up the ground nicely. definitely whiter.

why would you need to turn them around? unless u'd want to shine them up? i ended up taking out my led's for the rear signals cuz i couldn't stand not having the light up indication of when i armed and disarmed the alarm.
