yup city lights are 194 or 168

 

Those are exactly what everyone is using. I recommend that you get both and do the install at the same time because once you go through it once, you wont want to again!

These are the 194 bulbs I got, and these are the 9005 bulbs I got and from the same sellers too.

High beam headlamp question.

I'm thinking about using 9005 PIAA LED for my high beam.

When it's daytime, does daytime light come out okay?
(I'm worried because it's LED..)
How's the color?

Also, what is the watt usuage on high beam. 55w?

That fits in there????? Is ther room in there for the nine bublb one. It must be bright as hell right lol

 

it fits. and its not THAT bright.. same as the output of the 5-LED refractor i use in my front dome.

BTW: all my interior bulbs are blue.

 

Oh thats cool, Im using the White since i like that feel. And i have to get two bulbs for the rear right?? And did you get the 9 LED one from V-leds??

 

yea two for the rear.. i dont remeber where i got my bulbs from.. but i did get some from that site.

ok... i've read from p18 up and a few things are confusing me... i have the HID setup.

1. the DRL is a 9005(hb3) AND its also the highbeam?
2. the citylite? is that the parking lite (the little 168type just above the DRL)?

 

^ 1. Yes, DRL is just the highbeam that runs on half power.
2. Yes citylight/parking light is the 168 or 194 type bulbs.

now i'm off to the ricer store for some yellow HB4 and something nicer 168type, i do realize its not worth the money/effort to change the DRL bulb due to the half power settings

yea, but at least when you turn on the highbeam it will match your stock HID better... haha
IMO, it's worth it.
go get some cheap 9005, it will still be better than your stock bulb.
plus it will be less yellow than your stock bulb fosho (even with less power for DRL.
