Nope not at all. I replaced my stock ones with 6000k from ijdmtoy. Theres a few threads on how to replace the bulbs. All you have to do is remove the windshield washer fluid pour neck, the 2 screws that hold down the airbox and take that off. Then remove the the caps with the yellow and black sticker. The bulbs are right behind there.

The question hes asking is, 'with a aftermarket conversion kit H11 to D4S can he use the OEM bulb with it'?

I myself dont know.

No, because the base of H11 bulbs are different from D4S.



D4S, on the box it says D2S but looks pretty much exactly the same.

Do you mean the lite that is always on when you drive in the day with the headlights off? Those are the DRL/high beam, type 9005 (hb3) bulb. The parking lite is a little 194bulb that lites up the area that the DRL/high beam bulb is located in.

Reverse lights are actually 921 which is slightly bigger bulbs than 168/194 they still fit ok. Got the 168/194 LEDs in the reverse myself.

ahh... to many numbers..

what else do i need? i search some of the bulb sizes and couldnt find them on ebay..

my goal is to change out:
DRL's - 168
front dome light -- 168/194 (3)
rear dome light -- 31mm festoons (2)
back-up lights -- 921
cargo light - DE3022
glove box light - 37
vanity lights -- 168/194
the spot lights outside the door - 168/194

solved.

If i had all the answers then I wouldnt need to ask questions now would i? Its not like i havent figured out some of the sizes.

Correction, DRLs is the high beam on low power so it would be 9005. If you're talking about the little tiny bulb in the high beam area, that's the city/parking light.
