Default TOM's brake pad questions

For the owners of the GSF Tom's brake pads I have the following questions:

1) how is the bite for brakes? What about after a few months/years?

2) brake dust levels, is it lower than the OEMs?

3) Is there sensors for the brake pads? Will it trigger warning lights?

4) Will you buy them again?

I use the GSF mostly on the streets. Maybe one track day per year with this car. And the on last track day (last weekend) the bite was pretty bad and there was a bit of fading after the 5th lap.

Other options on brake pads? Many thanks!

1) Bite is good. Can't really attest to few years later but seems good from what I've driven.

2) Lot less brake dust for sure.

3) The electrical sensors or the hard sensor?

4) Yes, proven that people buy them again.

Thanks for the reply!

The dealer just said sensors and warning lights. Not sure which one he was referring to.

I believe the sensors are electrical and will trigger the warning light in the system.

1- When the pads are cold the bite is weak in my opinion but after a few stops when they are warmed up they bite hard!!!!
2- Brake dust is virtually gone on my car especially since i ceramic coated my wheels so no dust sticks to my wheels!!!
3-The sensors as long as they have not gone off on your old pads you can simply reuse them.
4- Honestly I personally would not buy again. My next set will be the Endless MX72 pads. simply because from what i read their bite is alot better,.

Endless sounds good, but do you think the dust level will be low, they really don't mention any of that on their site...

I run Endless MX72's on my ISF and won't run another pad after experiencing them over the past 3 years. Brake dust is definitely still there, albeit is less than the stock pads IMO.

I see. Thanks for all the input.

I am leaning on Tom's performancer pads. I know there is a Tom's racing pads but I only track once per year.

It just blows my mind how there is harder bite, less brake dust, and more quiet. It seems to defy all laws of physics.

How rotor friendly are TOM's performer pads? Do they eat rotors like the factory non-TSB pads, 1-2 sets of pads per rotor?
