Looking at pictures of vehicles for sale, I'm seeing the button on all 2018 and higher, and a blank place for a button on all 2017 and earlier. Does that sound right? Does anyone know if this was an option on either range, or not available on earlier models, standard on 2018+?

It was not an option on my ‘16.

No, that's not what they're talking about. All models have lane departure warning and precollision braking. This is a button you press to hold yourself on an incline without having to hold the brake pedal down. It came on the 2018 models, but not prior to that.

So, I took it upon myself to look at all the technical specifications and highlight the changes that were noted by Lexus themselves. In other words, I read and got the information directly from Lexus's brochure and product information for each model year.

NOTE: This only includes US models and if I missed something feel free to correct me. If anyone can get me the tech specs sheets from each country I would gladly edit the post to include those.

Lane Departure Alert with Lane Keep Assist is listed in both the 2019 and 2020 brochures.

FWIW, I believe the '16s do have Steering Assist; at least mine will correct steering when the LDA is switched ON.

Eric
That's right as Eric has mentioned, my '16 have steering assist and a color head up display as well.

I do not have the part number, however, you will find it a lot harder finding the non-polished rims being they were the stock rim color from 2017-2019 with the polished ones being optional except in 2016 where they were standard. Would recommend just grabbing a set of polished rims and getting them refinished. Check out @designo 's powder-coated GSF rims... I am tempted constantly to copy him.

The part number for the 2019 fronts is 4261A-30220. Rears 4261A-30470. They do not appear to be polished, only painted.
