Default December to Remember

I have done some searching and haven’t found anything about the December to Remember sales event with respect to the 2007 IS. From what I have read, it didn’t seem like anyone got any stellar deals last year since it was the first year the second generation was out. Do you think this year will be a better year to take advantage of the DTR event? Are the deals more off the MSRP and/or lower APR?

Also, generally how far in advance do the dealers know which cars will be allocated to them?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I got a ML system thrown into my car for free. Then again, this was only if I picked from what they had on the lot.
