Default 2006 GS430 No Clock Navi/Climate Button Not Working Please Help!!!

Hello everybody, I have an issue with my 06 GS430. Yesterday everything was normal and in proper working order. This all started this morning when I first started the car. The clock does not display, all of the buttons to the left, right, and bottom DO NOT work (this is NOT good because I cannot control the climate, turn on a/c, heater, NOTHING) navigation touchscreen works (but again navigation push buttons to the right of the screen do not work).

So, the only thing that works is the Radio and the Navigation touch screen! Also, all of the push buttons surrounding the navi screen do not illuminate at night when lights are on.

Things I have done:
-Checked fuses (IG)10A ECU-IG RH, (ACC) 7.5A ACC, (BAT) 7.5A TV, RAD 1,2,3
-Hard Reset - Disconnected Neg. Battery Cable for 20 min.

Is there anything else that I can check for or is my entire Navi Console Unit shot?!

Picture of my issue below:

Any work done inside the car lately, removal of dash pieces, etc? Check the harness connections at the back of the unit. If you're willing to take the unit out you can test for power with a volt meter to make sure its receiving 12 volts.

No, no work has been done to the unit. I didn't even take it out.

Lol! Now, it looks like I have another issue on my hands. This time its with the radio. When the engine is on I have a little static from the fm/am stations that was not there before. With the engine off I have no static.

I believe there is some type of interference. Not sure if it was due to me taking off the negative battery cable or taking out the fuses? Any suggestions guys?

Might be a antenna ground issue or something wrong with the amp for the radio... this aside from the climate controls/navi buttons not working could be related or separate. Its possible parts of the unit went bad but also strange at the same time. I worked in car audio professionally several years back and would see a lot of weird scenarios with different types of cars.... could be a fuse, unplugged harness, or maybe a rat that ate through a wire harness (real situation).

recommend advanced troubleshooting at this point, assuming you did a thorough check on fuses (test them if you can with a meter) I've seen fuses that looked good to the eye but went bad. If all that checks out, take the head unit out and start testing. There are tutorials on how to remove the unit, with a little bit of time, couple tools, and some towels laid down (dont scratch anything) you can take a closer look or maybe even replace.

Now were cookin' with Crisco! Well it looks like everything is working and back to normal now! After work yesterday I hopped in my car cranked it up and everything came on and all the buttons work!

I'm not sure what really happened? Maybe it was due to performing a hard reset by disconnecting the neg. battery cable for 20 min.? I don't know? I'm glad everything is working now! Glory to God!

Thank you all for the help!

I still have a little bit of radio static but, I can live with that!

I didn't do anything except for checking all the fuses and disconnecting the negative battery cable. Even after I did that it still was not working, but it worked the next day.

rxmvibes, I'm having the same issue with my GS. Did you pull any other fuses besides: (IG)10A ECU-IG RH, (ACC) 7.5A ACC, (BAT) 7.5A TV, RAD 1,2,3 ?

Has anyone found a remedy for this issue? It’s seems common in the 3rd Gen GS
