2006 IS navigation problem

2006 IS navigation problem
I have an 06 IS250AWD and my navigation has been acting up. It started by showing the wrong location and then progressed to the system rebooting “do not power off” and now the screen is black, however all the buttons work, radio, back up camera, climate control and the touch screen works except on the right side the navigation buttons do not work and when you push them it displays “external system not connected”. Also, everything is displayed on the screen when used (for example, the climate, the banner for the radio etc.). Only the map doesn’t appear and screen goes black when the map would normally appear after not selecting another option. Any idea what this may be! Thank you.

You problem could be fix easy for under $150 if you DIY. All you need is new Map Player

Ok thank you. Now it’s just saying check the system. I’m assuming it’s still the map player. I saw a video or two on this.
