I HAVE A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON IN MY CAR AND ITS BUGGING ME THE CODE READS

P0125 - Insufficient Coolant Temp. for Closed Loop Fuel Control

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW I CAN REPLACE IT SO I CAN GET THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OFF??

ANYONE THAT HAD THIS PROBLEM AND HAD IT REPLACE CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME WHAT I NEED TO DO TO FIX THIS PROBLEM...

1. get a volt meter and check voltage... back probe the coolant temp sensor and cold should be give or take 4-4.5volts and hot should be around 1-1.5volts

2. get a sanner and hook it up, and see what your temp read... (easiest way imo)

Does the temp gauge read in the middle once the car fully warms up? If the needle stays low, perhaps the thermostat is stuck in the open position and the car cannot warm up.

theres no way i can just replace the part??

onces its fully warm it sits in the middle... it doesnt over heat or anything.

you can if u want... up to you but like i said just check it for yourself 1st before spending money but thats just me tho

haha i would but i suck with engine and cars...

for me, my car threw a p0125 when my o2 sensor wire had a short/break.
