im got 97 es300 with 153K miles
n it got engine code P0115
it said Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit. on book
how i fix this problem
help me cause i need to turn it off to sell the car

 

The error indicated is "engine coolant temperature Circuit malfunction"

(Circuit is usually wiring or sensor)

Does the temperature gauge indicate at the correct mid-range point?

I would suspect the coolant temperature sensor or it's electrical connection/wiring.

Apparently, the diagnostic computer does not see a High to Low resistance change in the sensor as the engine warms up, cold to hot.

This action may be checked using a Ohm meter or multimeter.
