'23 though. My local dealer has six at MSRP, but all of them are '23s. And all of them are white except for the $196k Maybach. None of the redesigned '24s yet.

Doesn't mean they wont try and tack one on in person...but yeah that looks like MSRP

The 6 is nice, but it definitely doesn't feel effortless like my S560 does, and its not as smooth. If I were to get one for me to daily I would get the 580. For my wife and the family the 6 is fine.

My guess is though if I were to actually take a swing at any of the ones my dealer has they would fold quick on the ADM.

They're not out yet, 24 GLEs are but not GLSs

The GLS 580 is going "dark" again from what I understand. Off menu order only at first similar to how it was when Mercedes started creeping out of its V8 hiatus before the official announcement.

They are completely covered in sap and nastiness from sitting there, and two of them the ink on the ADM sticker is almost completely faded by the sun. They also have leftover 2023 GLEs and refresh GLEs with the same ADMs on the windshield. Why would you pay the same ADM for a 2023 as a 2024 refresh?

They have a nice 23 S580 that has been there at least 90 days, and also is filthy. I did email them about that and they offered 10% off right off the bat...but the SUVs are *supposed* to be in higher demand....

MSRP isn't a deal I would take because I can order a 2024 from somewhere in the country for MSRP I'm sure...I'll order it from Utah if I have to lol
Because 24 is not the better one for some. That new steering wheel is odd. IMO in person both refresh GLE and X5 look worse than pre refresh. I had an urge to replace mine when it was coming. After seeing them on road, .... that urge is gone. I don't know. They both don't look bad but just not an improvement IMO. They both have the look of their one step down SUVs IMO. And with the iDrive 8, one screen, less buttons... I will keep this one for now. Maybe new GX will bring some fresh air. I like the last posted picture.

I don't think most buyers are going to buy the older model with the same markup as the newer model just because of the steering wheel. Its the same steering wheel as the W223, its fine. Its a small upgrade, but its enough to make the pre refresh look dated IMO.

of course and I agree. The new one regardless will outdate the previous one. I just don’t see them as better designs. If I remember correctly the new wheel has a flat base. No?
as I’m responding I see two nice cars here in the lot. One 7 and a new panamera with paper plate. I have not been done amused by the 7’s plate (it says homeless ) two come out of the store. One young lady and older lady, probably her mom. The younger one opened and went in the porsche. The older lady kept pulling the door from the 7. Lol

The new one is this one:

I doubt we will get the flat bottom wheel here for the Sport package, we don't get it on the W223 even though they do in other markets. The actual AMGs may get it. This is the sport wheel:

To be fair that is a 3 row SUV vs a sedan lol. My S560 gets 28 on the highway, 20 in mixed driving.
