4 door trucks just have a lot more utility though...its amazing how much room is in the cab of a 4 door truck.
Oh that would be just for fun, agreed about no room. They should just make it a 2 door Tahoe again, now we're talking.
I bet the air conditioning in that thing is absolutely insane, because it's a small cab and I assume has identical HVAC made for the crew cab or whatever the largest one is called.
That is one amazing looking truck. For a 4-door that is. IF, and that's a big IF, I had to get a 4-door truck one day, this is it. Not necessarily that color scheme, although this is very nice, but the 90's style before the redesign in 1998. Love the side steps on this one, nice style over just a running board. This one has slightly different mirrors (rather the assembly itself, not the mirror) but it's fine. Must be a refreshed model, whenever they did it.
Since at least 2008, there's been a dark blue 92-97 F-250 in this one neighborhood not far from where my mom lives. Fantastic condition and likely not many miles on it, since just about every time I drove by his house when I was in my 20's, it was parked in the driveway. I should make a trip sometime and ask him if he wants to sell the truck. Never know what he'll say.
We had a "farm truck" that was used out in the boonies for decades and never really taken care of, just used for farm stuff. For all I know it still runs, I haven't been out there in years.
My cousin has an 02 F250 diesel that has like 300k on it…
Even in 02, well after that 7.3 classic IDI diesel was retired, they were still strong engines. I bet that thing will keep going for many years to come with barely a problem, if any.
Looks so good just wanted to see it again.
I've never owed the club cab 4 door but always wanted one.
Only problem is they are loooong, need an acre to turn it around and parking at Walmart might be tight. lol
I don't do short beds, must be long bed at 8' with a club cab at minimum..
Disclaimer, I've never owned a short bed but just thinking that extra 2 feet matters.
Also, I I was working the truck I like a diesel but just for a knocking around truck I rather a gas.
Only because I felt like I was killing my Dodge with Cummins turbo diesel when it just sat around all the time, I think it kills a diesel if not working it but I know know that for sure.
About that Accord hybrid and how we’re stuck with it. You know it’s bad when even MT is complaining about it. The same magazine where editors called people who use laptops hypocrites in a road test bc they have batteries.
They said the same thing though "If a car to you is transportation meant to get you here and there as efficiently as possible, the 2023 Accord nails it" and thats exactly who its marketed towards.
So I have been watching outgoing gen Accords since we talked, almost every one I see out on the road is a hybrid...I've seen probably 10 in the last couple days, only one was the 2.0T. My guess is the take rate on the hybrid is part of what made Honda decide to just double down on that. 0-60 in 6.7 seconds in the 2022 Accord Hybrid, so very similar.
