I haven't seen the rear of a W222 in a while. This photo is making me realize how much I don't like the rear styling of the W223.

 

The "baseball" interior color is probably BMW's "Cognac". Not sure what the exterior color is - I've never seen that. Maybe a custom color?

 

It might be an "Individual Color" or maybe a wrap?

did you know about the camera? if i were you i'd check out the intersection in google street view to see if there was a sign letting you know, where i am at least the county is required to indicate an upcoming camera

 

The picture is small, but it kind of looks like Isle of Man Green with stealth (matte) PPF. But IOMG was a launch color for the G8X M3/M4, and wasn't available (even as Individual) when the M6 was in production.

I can't find any current color in the M8 Individualizer that looks like it either. So I'm going to guess it's a wrap.

 

Bigger pic, it definitely didn't look like a wrap to me (but it could have been). It looked like real paint, absolutely no hint of matte.

Any EZ Pass. Mine is not thru the PA Turnpike.

 

I know in MD we have toll breaks if the EZPass is a MD one. The Tydings Bridge and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge are examples.

We have cameras for red lights, speeding that started out as around school zones but now everywhere, and for tolls.
For tolls, if you don't have EZ Pass they send you a bill at the registration address.

Some people
a) scrape off the lettering on their plates
b) use clear covers over the plate that blocks it from certain angles
c) put a leaf or a business card underneath the license frame to block of individual digits on the plate
d) change the letters by painting over it. For example- F made into an E

Once in a while the MTA will do a major ticket and impound at bridges and tunnels but not much enforcement.

 

If they are spotted by a cop, and get pulled over for that, there is (probably) a big fine. And, to be honest, I can't say I have a lot of sympathy for people who do that.

Oh, and you forgot one..........some people drive around with stolen plates.

 

Yep, good find. I could've sworn it said M6 on the back, but either way that is definitely the color.

Is it based on the authority that issues it, or your mailing address?

Either way, PA Turnpike definitely doesn't require the transponder to be from them for the EZ Pass rate.
