Out here freezing warming truck up to make an airport drop off. Cold start, it’s been a few days.

You can’t feel or hear anything. I’ve been touching everything in here wheel, shifter, door panels, etc. for any NVH. Nothing gets through. Impressive. Especially since more than one outlet is complaining about the 3.4tt idling roughly. I assume and hope the Land Cruiser came this refined, too.

I've had some pretty nice cars over the years but have never had anything like this to happen. Being a Lexus owner for a couple months now, I understand the enthusiasm. ❤️

Cool story. Nice car

CarDealershipGuy (on Twitter) just posted the average auto loan rates for January
New: 8.41%
Used: 12.88%

Both decade highs. Source: DealerTrack

Crazy, and rates are gonna keep on climbing. Obviously these averages factor in all kinds of credit scores, etc. so we all know better deals can be had.. but still..

Are those for Tier 1 borrowers? Or an overall average for all borrowers, of all credit scores?

Can't be tier 1. I just spot-checked a couple. The two credit unions I'm a member of are at 4.99% and 5.64% for 72 months. Chase is at 6.14%. Bank of America only discloses 60 month rates (5.49%) unless you begin an application, but I suspect they're in the high 5s to low 6s.

So given that, there must be an awful lot of people paying well over 10% on new-car loans to have the average settle out at 8.41%.

interesting to see an RX and LX stolen. Not sure what they were doing under the wheel arch of the RX.

Lexus Financial is offering 3.49% on outgoing RXs and 4.99% to 5.49% on some other models.

This is why you exercise your right to the 2nd Amendment. A 12 gauge racking would chase these fools off fast.

I do believe it that it's easy enough to steal a modern vehicle.

Buick and Chevy hit me in my E-mail, respectively, with 3.9% and 2.9% offers every day.

I’m putting my first experience with MB and details of the first service and the prognosis in my thread, but I did enjoy checking out the showroom.

There was a $200,000 GLS600 Maybach that I checked out. Whew. A few shocking things, though good and bad.

Ballin'.

Not a fan of these style rims except here, whew.

Power running boards elegantly come out, lit up door sills of course

Please don't tell me that's orange peel in a $200,000 Mercedes. Zoom in if you have to. That can't be the norm, look how smudgy it is.

This is unacceptable plastic, or a cheap metal.

Nice.

Underwhelming, especially compared to the doorhandles in my SL. These are standard issue, nothing special for the price. Lexus has this down better currently I think

Stunning vehicle but a few flaws. Please someone tell me I'm crazy and that paint job is normal/good??????
