How do you like your X1 so far? As we discussed in an earlier thread they've made some big improvements over the previous gen which I had.
It's only been 48 hours, so I'm still adjusting, but I definitely like it overall. The transition from the iDrive in my F30 328 to the new iDrive 8 with no controller is definitely a steep learning curve that's going to take a bit to get used to. I had the 2nd gen as a loaner a few times, and this is just such an enormous upgrade from the prior version, particularly on the interior.

So bizarre that they got rid of the iDrive controller only in the X1. As far as I can tell, every single other model that has been refreshed to or introduced with iDrive 8 (2, 3, 7, i4, i7, iX, XM, M3) has retained the controller.
For 130 more HP? Yeah, that's worth it plus in theory they have fixed the reliability issues this time.
If I could tell the difference in the ride I wouldn't...

I noticed today when I dropped my car off for service they have a brand new Range Rover on their pre-owned lot at the Mercedes dealer. I'm sure there is a story there...

I don't know if there's that much of a story other than maybe dealers being dealers and flippers. Exclusive Automotive. now out in Ashburn, has 8 of the new 2023 Range Rovers with a hundred miles on the odometer, now selling for like $50K over their original MSRPs. Also have 4 new Sequoias, Capstone MSRP $82K they're asking $109.

Yeah. Will see the fuse. Other than that, not too big an issue. I only drive it 2/3K miles a year anyways.
yeah. Might be
I agree with the fuse idea(and switch) like already posted above as a first check.
Especially if you have multiple things stop working but are related in function.
Check fuse >> check switch
Add- if that doesn't get it, you may need full schematics to dig in deeper unless other patterns emerge of things not working. Can do a new thread on this if needed if you have someone with multimeter skills to dive in.

Not likely gonna dig into the schematics if the fuse idea doesn’t work.
