This is a worthless post without pics but I saw a new S-Class with the matte black paint today and it was stunning. Never seen one before in that color.

That must have been a wrap. They have magno colors but I believe only gray and white.

You can absolutely special order Night Black Magno, but to your point it was probably a wrap.

I misspoke. It was more of a pretty dark grey. Looked amazing.

Yeah, in Atlanta proper there will be some of that! I want to say my first ever Aventador sighting was somewhere around Buckhead...

Just got back from Orlando - wife and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary with a trip to Disney for a week! We had a rental Passat for a week, and I am pretty sure it needed an alignment.

And some transmission fluid.

And just a general checkup to figure out why it sometimes squeaked when making right-hand turns.

But hey, I can only expect so much from a 41,000-mile rental car. So quite the opposite of those cars you saw, I imagine.

Yesterday I drove this X3 M40i. It is a 2021 model-year car with only a hair over 3700 miles on the odometer. My wife and I have been toying with the idea of replacing one of our cars with something like this car, and honestly, the X3 was top of the list.

This thing drives fantastically. The steering is not typical-BMW vague, with nice "medium" weighting and decent feel. The ride is not overly soft, but also masks most minor road imperfections. The engine sounds glorious, too, and responds willingly with the help of the ZF 8-speed auto. It fires off rapid shifts in "S" transmission mode as well. It's a hoot.

Not 100% sure we'll go through with it, but it's a great deal for a car that's basically still showroom-fresh.

Go for it. The X3 is an excellent overall product, and the B58 is one of the best engines currently available from anyone.
