2022 Lexus LX600 (4th gen)
Does it use a QR code? we have a QR code...so easy and convenient...right in the Wallet on my iPhone. Sadly the Toronto Auto Show was cancelled again this year.
No really surprised.
I like it as well. Looks really good. best rendition of spindle so far. NX is #2

I like the Luxury grille much better than the F-Sport's. The main difference between this iteration of the predator and the one on the 570 is that it doesn't look like it's one piece, each "bar" looks like a separate segment and makes the grille look less like a big hunk of plastic. It's also matte silver and not chrome like the old one, which really helps it blend in with most of the monochromatic body colors.
The F-Sport grille is truly terrible because not only is it the typical one-piece gaping maw, it's expanded even further by the black edges of the bumper which gives it the same effect as the Avalon:

Finally watched some reviews. There are plenty of things I like and dislike on the F-Sport.
Likes:
1. I still like the styling and it will look much better in black to me and I really like the new rear end, especially the new tailights. The F-Sport wheels look really nice too.
2. I like that it comes with the tow receiver and has a cover when it is not in use. On my X7 I had to pay a small fee ($550) for the tow package and when you get it, it is always exposed (no nice cover) and you lose the hands free opening of the tailgate.
3. I like the gauge cluster although I'm surprised they didn't use the typical F-Sport LFA like sliding cluster.
4. I like the look of the steering wheel.
5. I love the fact that the second row is manually operated to get in to the third row. Makes it so much easier and faster than the power second row in my X7.
6. I like that the second row has ventilated and heated seats. My X7 only has heated seats.
Dislikes:
1. At this price point, it would be nice to have alcantara headliner. Not sure if it's an option for the F-Sport or not.
2. I don't love the aluminum trim and would like more options there.
3. With a twin turbo V6 is should be quicker. The X7 40i is much quicker with the inline 6 turbo with less rated horsepower.
4. I thought no side sunshades were available on the F-Sport but it looks like they do have them, they are just manual. At this price point they should be powered.
5. No soft close doors. Again, at this price point and being the flagship SUV, they should be included.
6. No one touch fold down or up third row seating. No one wants to sit there and hold the button for the slow seats to fold up or down.
7. The biggest minus for me is still the size. The third row is tiny and with the third row seats up there is hardly any room behind them.
I originally thought it was price well and now I'm not so sure. If I price out an F-Sport without ML it comes to around $104,000. A comparable X7 40i M-Sport would be about $88,000 and a comparable M50i would be about $104,000 and that is with a twin turbo V8. The value proposition that Lexus typically brings doesn't seem present anymore.
All in all I think this a decent effort by Lexus and it may be something I consider in a couple years but I have to get over the pricing.

what a very interesting observation. I learn something new everyday. Never noticed this on the LX models
Wow, live and learn. We were behind an X7 with a hitch in line at Raising Cane's and I said to my wife, the tow hitch cover fell off - I wonder if the driver knows it? It would be easy to cover it up.
