2022 Lexus LX600 (4th gen)
I still remain perplexed as to why Toyota/Lexus is so gun-shy about operating in the upper end of the luxury market. There's been several opportunities where I thought Lexus could've stolen market share from others without much effort.
Lol was thinking the same thing.

Haha, I have noticed a pattern and ironically tried to indirectly address it in this exact context you highlighted.
Oh well lol, as my example keeps being proven
. I just want us all on message or on the same page, albeit with a grain of salt of course. If anyone else beats me to it, even better and less work on my end. Unfortunately, a lot of insight is often scattered everywhere, so everyone else misses it.
You said it, I said it, Steve said it. All of us clearly get it, as it is really important everyone else not get misled by anyone going off message and repeating the same conjecture over and over, until it becomes the "truth".
If anyone else wants to join us all and recognize LQ ain't no Lexus and a petrol-powered LF-1 ain't coming, well they can when ready. They just shouldn't expect any talk about LQ or LF-1 to be met with any seriousness.
LX 600 VIP is coming, a 4 seater chauffeured version. Like GLS 600 Maybach. LF-1 was pretty much that, except in unibody form on GA-L and a little more sporty. The LX 600 F-Sport is another one.
I keep also hearing about LX 750h, but to my knowledge the trademark doesn't exist. Is it likely that LX 600 is the hybridized V35A indeed and Lexus will not designate it with the suffix "h"? Perhaps 450-500 hp? 600ish lb-ft? It really doesn't make sense how we keep hearing about this TTV6 LX, yet no trademark exists yet and only LX 600. Calling it 600, when LS is already 500 as well and has more hp, makes little sense.
A mild hybrid like 48v, is what I am hearing about in some FI V6 Lexus models. It is entirely unproven, so take it with a grain of salt. GX 550 however, is going to be AMAZING and a breath of fresh air. GX is going a little retro, niche.
I wonder if this is what became of the plans for the next generation Land Cruiser for USA?

Update:
Always take anything anyone says with a grain of salt, because yes I am sorry I went off of the LC F trademark killing and made declaration the LC F is dead. The U4XA-FTS V8 somehow isn't and was showcased in Las Vegas on February 10. 6 months after the trademark died.
Actually, I don't what Lexus is planning for that, but it sounds like an LC 500 F-Sport Performance is coming, which explains no more LCF. I take it Toyota is not investing in NEW V8s outside of Lexus L flagships going forward. RC and IS lose the 2UR by 2024. IS 500 was a rare exception.
As LX 600, it will again have a 4-Seater exec lounge style, VIP version a la Maybach. This is old news anyway, so is an F-Sport version. The VJA310 LX 600 is not using "h" as a suffix, but might be hybridized and more powerful than the LS 500 AND Land Cruiser 300, called VJA300?

Lexus' first BEV, outside of the more downmarket UX (ROW)? I guess when pigs fly lol. They want to make their money back hand over fist, as Akio Toyoda doesn't want to even invest BEVs and feeling his hand was forced prematurely, will price it above the RX I imagine.
Since it is RWD in nature, with probably the option of rear or F&R motors, it will be priced like an entry level X6 or GLE I figure. The RX being FWD basis, might be cheaper.
An LZ 600e EV, might rival the LS in price and surpass it.
Thanks!
