2022 Lexus LX600 (4th gen)
The new LX was (over)hyped in the Middle East 2 years ago, by the personnel who saw it, to be "nothing like before". I said this earlier and expressed genuine disappointment. Apparently they think a 4-seater version luxury Land Cruiser = Bentayga and misled a few curious customers, whom if they saw the vehicle themselves, could've described it 10x better and much more realistically. The average person working at dealers or regional distributors sucks at describing details when it comes to automotive changes.

Considering LX is one of the best selling vehicles there as it is, new, very much improved version is going to sell even better. It is not going to change the formula that made it one of the best selling vehicles there. That info was always from people who dont understand anything about car sales, or maybe are too regional thinking so seeing it sells poorly in USA, they think it is bad seller everywhere.
Reality is, last time we had info about LX production, it was well over 30k a year and that is just stunning for such expensive car.
That number is part of world wide sales. Lots of people in other countries buy them for what they're really engineered for. LC200s aren't necessarily loaded out luxury vehicles outside the US.
LX is super expensive vehicle anywhere, selling 30-40k makes it successful. They were never going to change the formula, why would they? Just make it better.
p.s. Also even base LC200s are expensive anywhere.
Also, I know this is a Toyota brand's board, but let's not rush to judgment that a TT V6 in an LX will be ultra-reliable just because Toyota builds it.
Per the Consumer Reports survey, the reliability of the TT V6 in the LS 500 (first year or two; it's selling too poorly now to make the survey) not only falls short of the old V8, it's outright bad. The fiendish added complexity of repairing it is just the cherry on the sundae.
