Watch some of the videos, the console is wood on each side, the steering wheel has wood inlays, there is wood on each door.

Here's a picture where I have circled where the wood is.

You're going to consider this as a future vehicle? A BOF truck? Doesn't sound like you.
It depends on how it drives.

Cool, thx. That first pic there didn't look to be any at all.

I'm very eager to see how these drive.

.
The Toyota/Lexus gated shifter is the best. Classy and a nice feel in the hand. This new LX direction is terrible.

the current cup holder place is terrible, I am always fumbling to get the cups. The placement on the side is great but yes exposed cup holders should not belong in a luxury suv

This thing looks extremely ugly inside and out. How did Lexus approve this design??? Lexus basically killed off the 5th gen LS with ugly styling and impractical designs. I hope the new LX won’t become the next sales victim due to hideous styling.

Interestingly, the new NX and Mirai also had pretty similar interiors, and the Mirai was the remains of what would have been the new GS. So I think the NX/Mirai interiors were mostly the byproduct of Lexus designers.

I'm not sure which design team worked on the LX, but it's clear the interior was an afterthought. None of the design cues from Mirai/NX are carried over. The LX seems to only exist to satisfy North American buyers so I suppose Lexus didn't invest a ton of money to differentiate it from the Land Cruiser, which won't even be sold here anymore anyway for anyone to spot the differences.

‘The LS looks great inside and out. This LX looks phenomenal on the exterior. But interior is awful.

I think the 5LS looks great too.

I don’t see how one can say this is hideous if they liked the outgoing car. Most people would confuse the two

exterior is to too similar, you can almost mistake this from front or even sides. The lx470 to 570 exterior changes were massive. The interior of the current one looks more elegant than this one, this strikes our more like rav4 or Nx for some reason

I like that the interior looks a little beefy, it fits the character of the vehicle

With this being on the Tundra platform now, does that mean the Sequoia will be the LX600 franternal twin?
