I'm trying to figure out whether it's better to be a righteous Tesla truth-seeker like Och, singlehandedly waging this just and noble crusade to expose this despicable company for the fraudsters that they undoubtedly are, or to be wrong about Tesla, like me, yet up huge amounts of money on their stock and sat on some quite extraordinary gains?
Can anyone enlighten me?
How are they fraudsters? They have very low FSD take rates and most of their revenue is related to auto sales along with carbon credits. The stock valuation is predicated on them winning the EV and battery cell market. The AI day didn't move their stock at all because the stock analysts ignore that business for the most part until it gets traction in the future. As long as they push the envelope in their core auto business, their valuation will still be high because they are winning the EV space.

I'm not a truth seeker, I actually commend Elon for being a genius fraudster, and I'm totally ok with anyone protecting their portfolio.

Fight the good fight, Elon needs to be investigated and sent to jail.

That's probably the first negative statement I've ever heard you make about Tesla.
I'm certainly not one of Elon's supporters, but I don't see where he has done anything that deserves a prison sentence. He smoked pot, but most places have pretty much decriminalized or legalized it anyway.....it is no longer a jail-offense. He seems to have problems getting along with his girl friend ....but, at least up to now, there doesn't seem to be any evidence he has physically abused her like some men do. He may (?) be selling something less than completely trustworthy in the Tesla autopilots, but, legally, the driver of the vehicle, not a computer-device, is ultimately responsible behind the wheel. You can't do that from the back seat LOL.

Tesla has billions of miles of AP data. Regardless of where this ends up, they are soooo far ahead of any other car maker.
This data can be used is so many ways. He who has the data wins. Every time.
By the way.... The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) found that somewhere between 94% and 96% of all motor vehicle accidents are caused by some type of human error.
Additionally (my opinion), Musk hasn't yet felt the scrutiny of investors when public promises and prognostications are not met or kept. His popularity and enthusiastic following have allowed him to get away with making statements that would impact other companies / stock with much more severe consequences.
I don't believe i ever posted that Elon Musk should be in jail but what LeX2K posted was me writing that his lawyers have their work cut out keeping him out of jail. Jail is obviously highly unlikely, but i think the FTC investigation could well result in huge fines.
A data center is not a training supercomputer. It's completely different. Tesla designed their own chip for the supercomputer. They aren't just an auto company as no other autocompany does anything like that. This is stuff that Intel and Qualcomm and Nvidia design.
Audi has designed it's own chip for automated driving, so did BMW. They are all playing the same game.

I have never seen them design their own semi. I would love to see evidence of this. Tesla has a small army of semi guys in Silicon Valley doing this work.
