I dumped the Pacifica... for another Pacifica...
Might I suggest the Wagon Queen Family Truckster! Seriously, though we had a 1982ish Caprice Classic station wagon with the third row seat that faced backwards. I seem to remember feeling carsick from riding backwards a few times. The other family we hung out with were more uptown with the Oldsmobile version.
^^ I can hear every character from Seinfeld saying this! (mainly picturing George saying it)
Back on topic - I can't believe I'm reading parts of this thread where you're actually considering another Pacifica... Why would you do that to yourself? In various parts of the thread you mention you'll never own another FCA product and then you say you're getting a quote on a 2 year lease... Don't do it. Time is your most valuable resource and sounds like you've put way too much time into dealing with issues of your Pacifica.

Haha, I felt the same way before I had young twins lol. They don't ride in the Lexus much, and normally don't eat in it when they do. But that particular day somehow she snuck a thing of goldfish out and the damage was done lol
My wife on the other hand, I have no idea how she does it, but I want to wash her car every time she drives it.
Yeah my kids take after my wife, not me LOL. I'm very neat and she's not.
Its interesting, I definitely see a difference in them vs me when I was a kid. I think kids today are much more accustomed to always having some kind of stimulus, when I was a kid I could sit 5 hours in a car no problem with no movie or anything like that, I can't imagine my kids doing that...

We have realized that we have to teach our kids how to be bored, and that being bored is okay. We put away all screens in our house for the summer to try to aid in this and ensure they are playing outside and creatively as much as possible.
We didn't have tablets or movies in our cars growing up. Heck, when I was 8 we drove from the Seattle area to Disneyland and I was allowed to bring one Hotwheel in the car to entertain myself. And I survived...
I try and vacuum my truck out every so often, as I get a lot of dirt in it when I'm off-roading. Even just visiting my family involves parking in dirt which means getting dirt on your carpet from your shoes. NBD, just vacuum once in a while.
Not to go too far OT, but my wife and I talk about this a lot. She's a first grade teacher, so she sees it a lot at school, and it becomes more of an issue every year. There is so much for them to take in and do all of the time that they are completely unprepared to sit and wait when that is what is required.
