We have realized that we have to teach our kids how to be bored, and that being bored is okay.
i don't think it's ok to teach them to be bored, lol, because i don't think 'bored' is a good thing. perhaps better is to teach them it's ok for them to just be... maybe teach them mindfulness, short meditations, observing things without always having to be manipulating a screen. really observe their surroundings, people, their own feelings, thoughts, etc.
i am NEVER bored.
The car guy in me says get a Palisade or Telluride as they are the best in the bunch and the least likely to cause regret.
The husband in me says lease a new Pacifica with all the same features she loves. While not the most reliable, I am sure they have improved in the last three years. As mentioned before, try to find a dealer that does pickup for service.
Good luck on the shopping.
One issue to note is that later years of the same generation and model tend to be more reliable and trouble free since the manufacturer takes note of owner feedback of the earlier MY and incorporates improvements and fixes in later MY.
So OP might be surprised that the new Pacifica that he buys turns out to be trouble free (can't believe I recommended a Chrysler).
Not to go too far OT, but my wife and I talk about this a lot. She's a first grade teacher, so she sees it a lot at school, and it becomes more of an issue every year. There is so much for them to take in and do all of the time that they are completely unprepared to sit and wait when that is what is required.
We have realized that we have to teach our kids how to be bored, and that being bored is okay. We put away all screens in our house for the summer to try to aid in this and ensure they are playing outside and creatively as much as possible.
We didn't have tablets or movies in our cars growing up. Heck, when I was 8 we drove from the Seattle area to Disneyland and I was allowed to bring one Hotwheel in the car to entertain myself. And I survived...

Epitome of "first world problems" I suppose, but damn, it's a real struggle! haha My 5 year is fine (most of the time) without needing to play with something or having a screen BUT we have to then be prepared to have our ears talked off; sometimes I just put the earbuds in and tell her I can still hear her... Our 2 year old mostly sits and babbles the whole time as well.
Screens in the car is one thing we do not give into right now, at first it was because I was worried about motion sickness, but now I just prefer the idea of them looking out of the window and observing new things or remembering land marks, ask street names, etc. I have been pretty surprised at my 5 year old's sense of direction; if I take a different route to school or familiar places, she'll ask why or tell me I'm going the wrong way. I only hope this doesn't create another "backseat driver" though, we have enough already with her mom in the car!
The anticipation is killing me. When are you going to decide already?!
Paitience.
Remember how long it took me to decide between some 5 or 6 excellent full-size sedans.....and all the problems with GM I had ordering the one I did select.

Not talking about your car tho. Title of thread literally says "next week". Let's go!
Well, my Lexus dealer does service pickup & delivery. I asked the Porsche dealer if they would do that for me if I bought a Cayenne or Macan & the answer was “no” & I said “bye”...

That's surprising. Pick up and delivery must be a dealer specific offering. I see the Porsche dealer near me offers it.
While in their custody, have they put on any scratches or other damage on it that were not there previously?
yeah, for this reason i wouldn't trust any car marque or dealership to drive my car. only i drive my car because who knows how it's treated by some random joe who works for dealership x, y or z.
