The ambient lighting is awesome IMO. It can be made brighter or dimmer, be set to themes or 64 different colors, and turned off entirely. I see no reason to have an opinion on it one way or another since its so user customizable.

I LOVE the ambient lighting in my S560.

 

I just think it’s overwrought in the EQS. Overdone and very overwhelming. But good it can be turned off. Maybe it can be pared down to now be on everywhere etc.

I really like it in our 5 Series and X3. I've found since we have a color set for each car at a level we like that I rarely make any changes to the color or the level.

In the picture of the EQS it was just cranked up too high for my taste. Our 5 Series has Ivory white leather with contrast stitching and I use the blue lighting set at a pretty low level.

 

It is pretty neat and I get what MB is doing to make it quite the experience. Too expensive for me

 

Just turn it down or off, no big deal.

 

Not a review video, just a load of footage of the car moving and interior details. Yup, i still think it's stunning. Hands down my favorite large sedan right now.

I think the 'establishment' s-class in the video looks 'old' compared to the futuristic eqs.

And then Elon wants to tell you Model S is the S-class competitor. I don't know how people ever believed something like that, Model S is Sentra Nismo compared to EQS.

 

Looks are subjective but this is hardly an ugly truck, it seems to be the most desired of the 200LX based on my IH8Mud time.

 

I watched that, doesnt surprise me, like I said EVs are ideal for this sort of car.

He thinks its ugly too, and that remains my issue with it.

 

Yes you've stated your issue many times but i don't think he said it was ugly, i think he said it was blob-like and the s-class is more stately or something.

 

I didn’t really enjoy the review. For some reason I just couldn’t connect with the reviewer. I can’t wait to see the new EQS in person, I think it’s gonna make quite a statement . I like what I see. But S class is nice too.
