I was guessing 10's when the temps cool down early Fall but tuners and shops seem to be making it faster daily ha ha.

Even the engine coolant is BMW green. The GT86 with the subaru co-op engine isn't. Ah well

Attended a local Cars and Coffee meet today at Katie's in McLean, VA. Some Toyo Corp folks were there with a MKV and saved us some parking spots. It was me (Black MKIV), 2 other MKIV's and a MKIII. This was my first time up close with the MKV, the Toyota team there were very professional and handled the BMW jabs with ease

. They were pretty excited about our "old" Supras being there too.

I think if you can pick these up for low $40k or used for low $30k, it would be a fantastic weekend car. I think it will be much lower maintenance than a C8 due to having a regular auto vs DCT and it's not pushing that much hp.

Time will tell if its reliable as the drivetrain is BMW derived.

I wondered the same thing. At the very least make it look similar. Especially since the MKIV is so iconic.

Haha. Different class of cars. One is $55K maxed out and the other is more like $80K before the actual "luxury" customizations. Can buy you a new Camry as a DD and weekend the Supra vs. just one C8.

No idea who will be more reliable in the long run though. Well, the Camry of course.
