Lol I won't pick on any of the new Supra's unless they start first ha ha. I actually like them, if there's a manual offering in future I may be interested.
as a device that exists yea it's pretty nice, I can just never accept calling it a supra, nor can I forgive Toyota for all their "the legend is back" literature going on at the Toyota website... but it does look cool and offers good performance for the money (ironically not the money people are paying for it)
Credit goes to BMW for that engine, that motor is legendary and while i won't be getting a Supra I will be getting that same engine in my soon to acquire M340i.
I am watching these threads (and Supra forums) closely and am going to wait and see how good/reliable these tunes are from each tuner before I buy one for my M340. Dinan is expensive and probably isn’t as aggressive as others but it comes with a decent warranty. The tune would probably be the extent of my mods and the results above are nice. I don’t need a loud obnoxious daily driver but being a little quicker would be nice.

With a stable like yours i can see the need for speed lol. Coming from a very slow IS200T, the M340i will be a huge upgrade in performance for me and thus no power mods desired.
If reliability meant anything to sports car buyers, the Supra wouldnt have taken a 25yr hiatus only to be reborn a BMW and the sports car market would have been dominated by the Japanese, except for Mazda and their Rotory disaster.
Considering I owned both the MKIV Supra in the past, yeah, reliability in a sports car means a lot to me. Does it matter to all sports car buyers? Probably not to people used to trash reliability...
