2014 Toyota Highlander thread
Let me save you trouble - $43k with everything but blu-ray player. And really does kind of have everything, more stuff than current RX.
Platnium has:
Platnium has:

looking at that site again, note how they list trim levels (well trim or trim + package which is wrong, but i digress) ALPHABETICALLY, which doesn't make sense.
and you'll see the 'model' listed as 5 Speed Automatic, with transmission right under listed as 6 Speed Automatic.
the website is a huge fail that makes toyota look bad.

For a while, Toyota also listed the 2013 Rav4 as 4AT when it is actually 6AT. Not sure if it has since been fixed, but a minor issue overall.
More frustrating is that Toyota likes to try to "build" you into existing cars for sale at a dealership, vs letting you build what you want and see where it's available.
All of this has almost nothing to do with the Highlander though, which seems like a great new 'ute!

Did you take one for a quick spin around the city streets there? I think Toyota had at least one or two Highlanders available for the test-drive circuit. I tried out a new Corolla LE there at the show yesterday (the dark-green one parked outside).....it is selling so briskly at local Toyota shops that I figured it was worth sampling. That test-trive circuit on the local city-streets, of course, is not enough for what I would call a proper review, but it DOES give you a rough idea of what the car feels like in low-speed, stop-and-go traffic and the suspension/tire stiffness on those pockmarked city streets..

But--the Highlander would be at the top of my mid-sized, non-lux SUV list now.

but anyway, over 90% of car buyers rely on websites before going to the dealers. you're entitled of course to downplay the relevance of a bad website. and this isn't toyota, it's the monopoly of JM Family Enterprises and SET (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southeast_Toyota_Distributors) making toyota look bad.
When I build a Highlander on the site for my zip I have no problems...
