I have enough cars that I could probably just cycle through them all and not need to refill anything for 2 months or more. They are all kept full though and I have about 100 gallons in fuel stocked to minimize price shocks like this.
The diesel on the other hand I don't even have a single reserve can for, should probably call my friend and see if he wants to split a 4-500 gal tank with me so we can use it for the year.
Gas can hit $15 a gal before it will cause problems for us, that would require a lowering of shooting to compensate. Ammo costs are roughly $185 a week currently at the pace we shoot and normalized for average reloading component costs that I stocked a few years worth at a time. If needed we can reduce shooting to compensate for gas but I doubt it will be needed

Well if you are in Cali like I am and seeing gas prices, you are definitely in a good place if you own a Hybrid or EV. I just heard next week they will start hitting the $6 range
i heard some 30 refiners (now down to 8) left california in recent years. california aggressively sought to put them out of business, so they left. so now california imports some of its gasoline from other countries. as they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
