As if the auto industry wasn’t already not having a good outlook this year. I’m seeing all the posts on my social media feeds. Which means airline travel and everything else going up again and rarely comes back down.

Sigh….

 

Thanks for mentioning this -- now I'm glad we bought our airline tix when we did -- Whew

 

The good news for me is, I'm not in the market for another car for at least the next 8 years. Please, oh please God I hope I don't have an accident 🙏

 

I'm just picturing the CEO of Stellantis having to awkwardly duck away from board members this week as oil prices soar and you've just doubled down on putting V8's in everything again.

Yeah I was thinking of today how Toyota was brilliant with its move to a diversity of offerings and focus on hybrids. Absolutely brilliant.

 

Well if you are in Cali like I am and seeing gas prices, you are definitely in a good place if you own a Hybrid or EV. I just heard next week they will start hitting the $6 range

 

My truck gets 12 mpg in the city, the BMW does 20(right now closer to 18 with the ethanol blend and my heavy foot).

That said I have a lot of buffer room for gas in my budget so I'll survive this. Gas basically doesn't even register on my finances.

 

I just paid $3.24 for premium.

Seems like it’s hitting hardest where regular gas was still well above $3, the west coast…. Sorry guys!

 

Right. Mine either. The difference in cost is probably how much a couple pizzas cost for dinner delivered one night, if that.

 

Always nice when you’re visiting family and they save a spot in the garage for you because they know you’re a car guy.

My friends are the same way without asking. They will make room in their garage so I can park in the garage. 😊
