They still have the LC500 which carries the original Lexus philosophy of Pursuit of Perfection. The only thing stopping me of getting one is that it’s a Lexus and I can’t custom order one to my spec. Otherwise it represents all the great things about what Lexus was meant to be.

It seems like Lexus might find 250 buyers in the U.S. Maybe some crazy mark ups initially. If so, they'll come down after a while. I've been wrong before.

As to the main story, disappointing, but not surprising. If the current model weren't such a departure from what an LS should be, I bet there'd still be a market for a 6th gen.
