There is a regular 5 series that parks on my block with the same color. I like it.
It reminds me of my '84 Camaro that I rattle canned with gray primer after the original paint started to fade.
it's an audi thing i've noticed lol... S class and 7 series owners never seem to want to explain why they didn't get an A8! the prestige gap envy is a very real thing
haha... not that that's a thing around here...

i can imagine the 'targeted' pharma ads in a Lexus ES.
Depends on how you would define its "prime". IMHO the best ones were the 4th-Generation E39 series, built in the late 90s and early 2000s, just before the Chris Bangle redesign, which IMO, screwed them up in a number of rof ways......styling, build-quality, materials, driving-dynamics, and too many electronics on the dash. I was VERY impressed with the way the E39s were built and drove, although they cost more than I wanted to spend on a vehicle at that time....as was also the case with the perhaps equally-impressive 335i.

Thats not what he's talking about, he's talking about the design and shape of the vehicle.
The Model Y is better looking than it was, especially from the rear and rear quarter, but they are still very awkward looking IMO.
Agreed. Although it is not the ugliest vehicle on the road by any means, It is still not very pleasant to one's eyes, and, from its styling, it is somewhat difficult to see why it sells in such large numbers.

oh in that case it's absolutely past its prime... seriously?!? the new one just looks cheap and gimmicky and it definitely isn't growing on me the more i see, whereas the G30 gen looked great 10 years ago and is still classy perfection now
there's not a single infiniti Q50 driver who wouldn't really rather be in a 540i
