Gets all the same gate in the MB community lol. When they first came out there were a bunch of issues, and now it has a "reputation". The 48v in the S580 definitely makes it feel stronger off the line, eliminates any turbo lag, makes the start/stop much smoother.
Which? I missed it and don’t get it. Everyone else does so it’s all good and I probably hate the reviewer too. If pertaining to reviews of car care products, I am not looking to invest in a bunch of new products when I have lots already on hand. I could do without the pretense in the majority of reviews in general.
Lovely 1 family on a quiet block. Comes with its own fanbase. $4mm.

We saw it on the way out to CA moving there in March 2014, it was right off I-40 so why not. House looked normal. We took a pic at the stop sign directly facing the home.
Since then it's just a shytshow over there. The owner, while it's her right, just sits in a yard chair and screams cuss words at people who come by.
What IS NOT her right is thinking she owns the sidewalk and side street and illegally blocking it off.
I woud love nothing more than to knock all of that down, all those cones down with my LX (or any car lol) and explain to her how she doesn't own the sidewalk and street because she thinks she's special. The cops could write me a million tickets for hitting the cones.... But they'd probably laugh honestly.
Every millimeter of her property, make it Alcatraz....go right ahead lady! But you don't get to own the street and sidewalk.
She was playing the martyr until she thought she could cash in, and this hasn't worked out well for her either. It's been on the market for way longer than it says on Zillow.
I don't mean to sound rude but that is an "ok" house at best. $4,000,000??? That area, and most of ABQ we drove through--- run down. I'm not saying there aren't nice places, but it did not strike us as particularly nice or desirable city. Add that it's so isolated (other than Santa Fe) and you have to take a flight to get anywhere from ABQ without driving TONS of hours.
Those of us on the east are luckier. At least, from Knoxville... a day's drive takes you to roughly 50% of the country... or something like that.
But oh don't get me wrong I lovvvvvvvvve the desert.
Well as fun as it was I don't think I'm ever going to use one of the W12s/4.0 in winter again.....
I put the silver up to do a pre-winter check and all my undershields screws that are near the center behind the wheels got rusted from salt spray. Now I have to order like 40 bolts and brackets and replace everything, freaking annoying but that's what I get for driving in salt.
Pure annoyance sure but also painfully ironic my best snow cars are the ones I want to use the least.

if they knew i'm sure they'd all be enthusiastic that they're helping preserve a pair of modern classic vehicles by picking up the salt with their leased altimas and RAV4s lmao
a major reason i'm grateful to have a remote job, i'll do some preemptive shopping beforehand and then let everyone else absorb the salt first before i go for a cruise around again

In my case I'm just a dumbass who specifically wanted to play in the snow, lord it was fun and the car did amazingly well but I'm cringing at the cost now. Body may be aluminum but the under shield bolts are steel
That's a very smart tactic, I usually use the "car we don't care about" method but if you don't have that then great idea to let the Ravs eat the worst of it lol!

now though without having a daily commute i'm typically only driving for the occasional errands or just to take a joy ride, and even though i like to treat the LS like a delicate baby it's still the ultimate toyota from the era of ultimate toyota toughness... so keeping the vic and continuing to insure it would just be overkill
Does anyone else have problems with their “auto dimming” mirror or is it just me that hates these things? I swear it only works 50% of the time. Is there a way to force this thing to manually dim every time I drive at night?!
The only thing stopping me from ripping this darn thing down and replacing it with a manual dimming review mirror is that when it DOES work it also dims the outside mirrors, which is actually really freaking nice!
There’s way too many losers driving with their brights on.
