there's no way you could ever drift that smoothly... oh wait are we supposed to talk you out or into it lmao
Hmmmmmmm (fantasizes of V12 era F1 nosies) I totally could figure it out, just need to get tires that break away moderately easily and with decent predicability.
If I can make an AWD car do that how bad can RWD be?

well for the F1 noises you'll need some fancy custom equal length headers, just straight piping will make it loud but not give the high pitched shriek
Oh it's not THAT hard, I'm looking at the M137 or M120 specifically for the sound.
The M275/279 are great engines but have 2 major issues that WILL happen and they sometimes lose the bottom ends because the crankcase is relatively weak for the length. That said my first luxury car was almost (as in I was sitting in it after test driving) a 2005 S600 Renntech, absolutely insane torque down low for a RWD car to attempt to put down.
The only reason I considered the Lexus at all was because I was not confident I could afford the S600 at the time, but my heart was always set on 12cyl cars.

even with the M137 or M120 you'll still need the custom headers to get the sounds you're talking about, otherwise even with straight piping you'll just get this:

that's the M137, hopefully this is helping talk you out of it haha but no mercedes n/a V12 will EVER make the high pitched F1 sounds without equal length headers

Oh, welp ya got me lol! It sounded airy to me so I assumed the badge was accurate
Driver has thermal to spot deer, and driving gloves trimmed to match the car leather selection Man this is nice. Heated massage with light cooling to prevent sweat, I even have an adjustable footrest
You know, maybe I don't always need to be the one driving the D4 W12s.
The most impressive thing to me is that even back here if I set the B&O DSP to this chair I somehow have a soundstage that ignores the chair in front of me. Honestly really impressive, I have depth, clarity, separation, and great imaging.
Oh and I can't feel anything drivetrain wise at all back here and it's making me trip out a little not gonna lie.

Hey guys, I'm still here.... I don't want to drag this thread OT so I'll make it quick.
I haven't gotten to my PMs yet but I will (I'm not ignoring anybody), and I do thank each and every one of you for your well wishes and concern. I am a true car nut, I miss my cars. I'm making sure the SL is warmed up to temp and driven at least once a week.
