Im looking forward to their implementation on the mild hybrid system. Will they do efill directly or indirectly as the current efficient dynamic vehicles.

LX with suspension on high just about Yukon’s height lol.

Also, I keep finding quirks in a good way. The rear wiper wipes if you put it in reverse if you only have the fronts on, just like the LX. That’s very Lexusy. The nav and gauge cluster etc dim and re-light gradually, nice touch. Engine is so damn strong, it’s impossible not to enjoy it. Love our LX too though. It pretty much drives just as well. Just not nearly as fast.

The interesting thing I have noticed is that most of the driving "feel" actually comes from the transmission......most modern engines deliver enough TQ that they are quite similar from 2500-5000 in terms of character but the trans tuning really sets the personality of a car if you have common engines like a 2.0T

You made my night @AJT123 I am so happy you enjoy your body on frame rigs. And you are epic to have four V8 cars and I admire how you are unapologetic about your fuel use

I just don't care. What about the mansion down the street that costs 4xs as much to power as my house? I'm not like proud to use a lot of fuel, I just don't care. I like big V8 engines.

50,000 flights over our heads daily. But oh the horror, my cars have 8 combustion chambers each....

saw this early this 00s Chevy. The colour reminded me of Lexus Iridium on first look.

that's what (well a big part of what lol) upsets me most about F1 in recent years... we've gone from the GLORIOUS V10s revving to over 19,000 rpm down to V8s and now the turbo V6 'vacuum cleaner' engines all in the interest of "fuel savings", yet the amount of races on the calendar has increased by about 30%! there's approximately a 0% chance that marginally increasing the efficiency of the 20 or so cars driving around for a few hours over the weekend offsets all the extra flights and traveling that now need to take place to support the increased number of races

i'm all for reducing unnecessary wasteful emissions and am by no means a skeptic of climate data, but if you say you're trying to reduce fuel consumption at least ACTUALLY try to do so and not just 'on paper'

I thought was about to look at footage of someone trying to break into your trucks! On the wiper thing. That’s pretty common on most brands. Volkswagens and Volvos do that too.

Nah that truck is blue. Lexus Iridium is silver.

They're just barking up the wrong tree. Cars are so clean that in many instances the exhaust is cleaner than the air that comes through the intake. Who cares how much fuel my cars use? They aren't huge polluters.

Thankfully all this false ambition crap is being rolled back, so that's hopeful.

It's like, I must get ten pounds of junk mail a week. Can we start there instead of ripping every V8 away?

Nah. There is no V12 I would want to maintain. Remember, the V8 in my Mercedes was the bread and butter V8 engine across the lineup.... very reliable.

The V12 would be like maintaining a Ferrari lol.

It's just a nice touch, the wiper thing..

And lol HELL no. If I were awake and that happened I'd have gone out there with the 12 gauge lol.

This is just not true at all. In order for this to be true a car would have to CLEAN the air when it is pulled through the engine and there is no car on earth that does that. Even the cleanest ICE produces plenty of pollution.

Actual tests show that there IS at least some truth to what AJT123 says.....particularly with new modern diesels.
