Those stars look really stupid on the E-Class taillights too.

What do you think about this
And this one
20-30 years ago, yes absolutely. But the modern emissions equipment takes a way a ton of that fuel efficiency advantage. And the maintenance and repairs just decimate any savings over the lifetime of the vehicle. Virtually all of the automakers that sold light duty diesels in the US got caught cheating the emissions standards to reflect better MPG during the tests than what they could really accomplish with a compliant setup. That's why Stellantis/FCA, VW, et all had recalls and had to retune all the vehicles to get worse MPG and less power, and why most of them stopped offering diesels in the US. You can't buy a new BMW diesel here anymore, or a VAG diesel.
work of art
10yr old hybrid battery. Seem to be ok. Wife sent me on a goose hunt to pick up a prescription only to be told come back in about 2.5hrs when it’s ready. So another 32 mile trip back to pharmacy in addition to having to drive another 20 miles or so to pick up kids then off to 💃🩰 practice. Pit stop at airport and dinner tonight as well.
Feel like a 🚕 sometimes. Need a nap😴

Perhaps Florida needs better emissions testing?

Most likely you're looking at trucks that have been 'deleted'. It's very common for owners to buy kits that remove the emissions equipment and tune the computer to operate without it. This improves fuel economy, power, and longevity of the engine, while reducing cost of maintaining the emissions system. The flip side is that there's a lot more pollution.

yeah they don't think much about giving cancer to everyone around them.

someone i knew had one of those decades ago, a stick no less.
Problem is they used such a small engine that was too weak for the car and made it unenjoyable to drive.

if that's your s-class screen i lol'ed that it's a pic of a car you hate (eqs) LOL.
why compare 2014 cars? oh wait, diesel bmw cars were killed off after that.
florida has NO emissions testing or inspections.
thanks... wouldn't surprise me. certainly a ton of 'red neck' trucks here

yes, the noisiest most gutless car i think i've ever been in.
not sure why you have to run your poor 'beater' down to fumes, but then you drive a ton so i guess if you refilled at 1/4 you'd be making a lot more stops.
